Elite Accreditation for Performance Manager & Women’s Head Coach

Jersey Cricket Performance & Development Manager and Women’s Head Coach Lee Meloy, has recently undertaken and passed the CoachEd Elite Accreditation coaching course.

The course, run by CoachEd cricket and former world cup winning coach Gary Kirsten, is aimed to provide coaches with access to high performance resources and insight from some the best minds in the modern game.

The 12-week course asked participants to undertake regular assignments and examinations on all aspects of cricket including Player Performance, Season Management and Developing Team Culture.

Weekly zoom calls included sessions with current RCB captain Faf Du Plessis, Hampshire CC head coach Adi Birrell and former Australian test captain Tim Paine giving their insights into the highest level of the sport.

In doing so, Meloy also joins the CoachEd exclusive ‘900 club’ having achieved an overall pass mark of over 90% across the 12 modules.

He stated “the course was effectively a Level 3.5, providing a great opportunity to continue to learn and improve my coaching standards. Having coached on & off island in various high performance environments alongside international coaches, the course gave me a chance to use these experiences and develop more skills as a head coach. I would certainly recommend this course to any experienced coaches out there”.
