Jersey Women Name Squad for Zurich Quadrangular Tournament

Jersey Women have confirmed their squad for the upcoming quadrangular tournament in Zurich, Switzerland, taking place from 27–31 July. The tournament will provide Jersey with four competitive international fixtures, with the island side set to face Switzerland twice, alongside matches against Spain and Brazil.

All four matches will be played at Embrach Cricket Ground, with every game streamed live worldwide by the European Cricket Network, giving supporters in Jersey and around the world the opportunity to follow the team's progress throughout the tournament.

The tournament represents an important opportunity for Jersey's women's programme, with the squad able to test itself against international opposition and gain valuable competitive experience across four matches in three days.

Jersey Cricket Women’s Head Coach, Liam Cook said:

"We’re really looking forward to the opportunity to play in Switzerland. We’ll come up against a new challenge in the hosts, while also facing familiar opposition in Brazil and Spain, which makes for a great mix.

The tournament promises to be a good test for the squad. Playing against quality international opposition is exactly what we need as we continue to develop and challenge ourselves. We’ve had strong availability throughout the build-up, the players have prepared well, and there’s a real sense of excitement within the group. We’re looking forward to getting out there and representing Jersey.”
