Jersey Cricket name 15-man Squad for T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier

Jersey Cricket has named its squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier, taking place in the Netherlands from 5–11 July. The team will face hosts Netherlands, as well as Guernsey, Italy, and Scotland in a round-robin format.

This year’s tournament also includes a set of ICC-organised warm-up matches, giving Jersey valuable preparation against strong opposition in Scotland and the Netherlands ahead of the main fixtures.

The top two teams from the Qualifier will secure a place at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka in 2026.

Director of Cricket, Paul Hutchison, said:

The squad has been preparing with real focus and intensity, and every match gives us the chance to show what Jersey cricket stands for — skill, spirit, and ambition. A place at the World Cup would be a milestone moment for Jersey Cricket. We know it won’t come easy, but we’re ready for the challenge.”
